Master of Business Administration - MBA
The Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) provides the academic foundation many employers seek in their future leaders. The KU MBA is designed to supplement previous work experience with leading edge business theories and practices. Experience the advantages of a KU MBA and discover a new world of opportunity.
The KU MBA is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the “gold standard” of business school accreditation and is held to the same standards as the full-time MBA program in Lawrence. In fact, the same group of faculty teaches the same curriculum at both locations, ensuring a consistent level of quality in the classroom.
MBA faculty members are actively engaged in research and stay on the cutting edge of knowledge. Additionally, more than 60 percent of the faculty has traveled internationally to teach or conduct research.
The KU MBA allows students to choose from a wide range of elective courses and certificates to fit their career needs. The MBA program for working professionals features convenient evening courses that meet once a week. The flexible schedule helps students keep important commitments to family and career.
Each student has the opportunity to earn a graduate business certificate for further in-depth study. Certificates will be 10 credit hours with five courses.
